Tom has over a decade of experience in the power generation sector; first with a major turbine and generator OEM and now as a consultant at TG Advisers. Tom is a graduate of GE’s esteemed Edison Engineering Development Program and holds 6 US patents related to turbine design and repair. While at GE, Tom’s responsibilities focused on the design and repair development of both steam and gas turbine hardware. Tom’s extensive design, repair, and shop experience enables him to provide OEM insight with an independent perspective. In his current role as Director of Engineering, Tom oversees TGA’s growing engineering team and is a main contact for TGA’s global client base. In addition to the publication of multiple technical papers, he has presented engineering course material for webinars, trainings, and conferences throughout North America, Europe, and Asia. Tom is a registered professional engineer in the United States in the state of Delaware and a registered professional engineer in Canada in the provinces of Alberta and Nova Scotia. Tom holds a BSME degree from Virginia Tech and a MSME degree from Georgia Tech.
